We had a wonderful time at Woolacombe Bay! The location is stunning, with breathtaking views and plenty of family-friendly activities nearby. The accommodations were well-equipped and clean, though some aspects could use improvement. While we loved the swimming options, the on-site dining prices felt a bit high. Overall, it's a spot we'd love to revisit!

Our stay at Woolacombe Bay Hotel was quite enjoyable overall. The surrounding area is beautiful and offers stunning views, although the lack of dining options in winter was a letdown. The rooms were well-presented, but amenities could be improved. Staff were attentive and helpful, which added to our comfort during the stay.
Rooms

The room was quite spacious and appeared well-maintained, but I found it odd that there was no fridge or minibar. The firm mattress standard was also not ideal for my preference.
Service

The staff were very willing to assist, addressing our mattress issue promptly, and housekeeping did a fantastic job keeping the rooms tidy.
Location

Woolacombe Bay offers breathtaking sea views and is perfect for beach lovers. However, in the winter, many shops and eateries were closed, which limited our options.
Dining
7.0
We had dinner at the Brasserie, where the pork belly was excellent. However, the prices felt on the higher side for what we received.
Facilities

The cinema experience was not great; it lacked comfort as seating was cramped. I also felt the absence of a handheld shower in the bathroom was a drawback.

Our stay at Woolacombe Bay was a mixed bag. The views from the area are breathtaking, and the range of activities available kept us busy throughout the week. However, there were several issues that left us feeling disappointed, such as the cleanliness of the accommodation not meeting our expectations and some amenities not functioning as they should. Overall, it was a good experience, but with a few areas needing improvements.

We stayed in the surf village caravan, which was meant to be the premium offering, but we found it needed some upgrades. There were issues like a broken shower and uncomfortable bedding that affected our comfort level.
Service

Some staff members were helpful and friendly, but we faced issues with several amenities that went unresolved. The response to our reports about problems was not ideal.
Location

The location is quite remote and the path to the beach isn't very accessible for everyone, but the bus service to local attractions was a nice touch.
Dining

The restaurant offered good food, but the dining area was noisy with children running around, which made meals less enjoyable.

The facilities, including the swimming pool and laundrette, could see some enhancement, as not everything was functioning properly during our visit.
